TERMS

What you are agreeing to, and what we are promising. Short, because it should be.

WHO YOU ARE CONTRACTING WITH

These terms are between you and The Green Room Guide Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Where they say “we” or “us”, that is who they mean.

WHAT YOU NEED

You must be 16 or over. You need one account per person — accounts are personal, and sharing one is the one thing that will get it closed.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Interview and speaking practice, scored by an AI coach, with the features listed on your plan. We will keep it running and keep it working, but we do not promise a specific uptime figure and would rather say so than publish a number we cannot stand behind.

WHAT WE DO NOT PROMISE

That you will get the job. Nothing here is a prediction of a hiring outcome. The coaching tells you how an answer reads against defined criteria; it cannot tell you what an interviewer will decide, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

The scoring is generated by a language model. It is useful, it is consistent enough to track over time, and it is not infallible. Treat it as a well-briefed practice partner rather than an oracle.

This is not careers advice, legal advice, or employment advice.

PAYING

  • The free plan is free and does not expire. It has a monthly ceiling, not a countdown.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe.
  • You can cancel yourself at any time: open the menu under your initials, top right, and choose Cancel plan. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel.

REFUNDS

Your first fourteen days

Change your mind within fourteen days of a new purchase and we refund it in full. No reason needed and nothing to justify. That covers starting a plan, upgrading from monthly to annual, and resubscribing after a cancellation — each of those is a new purchase with its own fourteen days.

Access begins the moment the payment clears. We could ask you to sign that fourteen-day right away in exchange for immediate access, which is what most subscriptions do. We do not.

Renewals

Renewals are not refunded. When a plan renews it is continuing the agreement you already have, not a fresh purchase, so the fourteen days do not start again — and that payment stands. Cancel before the renewal date and you are not charged at all.

Whenever you cancel, you keep full access to the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling on day two of a month does not cut you off on day two; you have the other twenty-nine.

When we do refund

Three situations, and you will not have to argue for any of them.

  • We charged you twice, or charged you after you cancelled.
  • The service was broken for a meaningful stretch of what you paid for, and it was our fault.
  • You were charged for a renewal you did not want and you tell us promptly. We would rather return the money than keep a payment someone did not mean to make.

Email hello@thegreenroom.guide from the address on the account. Refunds go back to the card that paid, usually within five working days.

Your statutory rights

The fourteen days above are your legal right as a UK consumer, not a favour. Most subscriptions ask you to sign it away in a tick box you scroll past on the way to paying. We do not ask, and there is nothing to tick.

You also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act if a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing on this page sits over any of that.

YOUR CONTENT

What you write and say stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so far as running the product requires — which includes sending it to our AI provider to be scored. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not publish it.

FAIR USE

Do not use the product to break the law, to harass anyone, to scrape it, to resell it, or to try to extract the underlying model or prompts. Do not upload anyone else’s personal data without a reason to.

We can suspend an account that does any of that. We will tell you why.

ENDING IT

You can stop at any time. We can close an account for a breach of these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering the service — in which case you get your data out and a refund of anything you have paid for time you will not get.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect. English law applies, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

CHANGES

We will post changes here with a new date. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect.
